What's is double jackets ?

Double out jackets have PVC+PE and PVC+PVC. Why the cable need double jackets? We make double jackets is usualy for outdoor use, and PVC inside and PE outside. PE has better UV resistance and harder than PVC. So PE will much suitable than PVC for outdoor. PE also suitable for fire-resistant environments and occasions with requirements for external force cracking. Black PE sheath has better moisture resistance and mechanical strength than PVC, and more corrosion-resistant.

In the same time PVC will much suitable for indoor than PE, cause it will be much soft than PE,  better adapt for twisting and turning needs. PVC is an early developed and widely used type of sheath, which has characteristics such as wear resistance, non flame retardancy, aging resistance, and softness.

Why not only use PE for outdoor?
If you use single PE for out jackets, there's will be a problem that the outside PE jackets will be sticked together insulation HDPE when they are heated in the machine.  Then most customers will choose PVC inside and PE jackets outside to avoid this problem.  However double layer sheath structure will also have higher cost and bigger cable out diameter. Customers better to choose the structure which much suitable for your market.
